Safetylock Frames

Designed for maximum structural capacity and safety, Safetylock frames feature an upright shape optimised for steel strength. Extensive testing has refined the shape, size, and steel grade to ensure the best performance. The beam connection slot is minimised to reduce material loss and improve resistance to accidental damage.

Frame Bracing

Constructed from high-grade steel, Safetylock Frame Bracing features a specially rolled-lipped channel (36×25 mm) for maximum rigidity and strength. Each frame is fully braced from top to bottom, ensuring stability across all levels without compromising safety.

Boxed Beams

Safetylock Boxed Beams are built from dual steel-lipped channels, crimped and interlocked at all four corners. This reinforced design prevents beam section opening, significantly increasing impact resistance and load capacity.

Load Beam Performance

Deflection Control – Beams are designed for a maximum deflection of 1/200 when loaded within specified limits.
High Safety Factor – Beams supporting two Australian Standard Pallets (1050 kg each) undergo rigorous testing, consistently showing a safety factor of over 2:1 before structural failure.
Superior Load Capacity – In tests, weights exceeding 4000 kg were applied without buckling or shear failure, though adherence to safe working loads (SWL) is always recommended.

Beam-to-Upright Connection

The Safetylock Connector is engineered to self-wedge under load, strengthening the connection as weight increases. A 4mm thick hook design provides up to 50% more shear strength than standard connectors.

Locking Device

Traditional spring-on safety devices can detach under load, increasing failure risk. Safetylock Load Beams use a secure Locking Pin that remains in place, offering superior resistance against accidental dislodging by forklifts.

Heavy-Duty Base Plates

Safetylock Heavy-Duty Base Plates wrap around the upright for enhanced protection and are securely welded and bolted. Designed to:

A Certificate of Structural Verification and Compliance or a General Structure Engineer Proof Checking Certificate—including compliance with AS1170.4-2007 (Earthquake Actions in Australia)—is available for all projects, with potential charges depending on project scope.
